So here at the CDH we have a little library that we can chose a book to read for that month and then turn in a book report about what we thought about it and/or how we may have disagreed with that particular book. Some incredible books are within the shelves of our palatal library. This month I chose to start off with a book by Dr. Larry Crabb "Inside Out." This week I'm about done with it and I read a great quote from it that I would love to share with you on the importance of a spirit of humility and not a spirit of demandingness that we seem to find when things do not go well, especially for an extended time. When that suffering is poured out from a twisted bitter demanding spirit we're met a surgeon rather than our Advocate who is here to care for us. Hopefully, that sets the stage for this weeks Whitley Wednesday Quote.
Perhaps the first step in learning humility is to consider who it is we think must change. A demand that things be different represents an accusation against God, a charge that He's guilty of mismanagement and negligence in His duties.
